Mally Beauty "Just Heaven" Kit

So one day a couple of months ago I was watching QVC (funny when I was younger I disliked QVC but I simply can't get enough of it now!) and this energetic, vibrant, sassy lady came on and I was drawn to the program. She was raving on and on about this kit and how much it is bulletproof and must have products. So I decided to order it and see for myself what the hype was all about. But before I get to the products, here's a little background on the creator for the ones who don't know about her line or who she is:

"Celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal learned at an early age the importance of accepting – and loving – who you are. Growing up in upstate New York, her parents instilled in her the philosophy that “the things that make us different are the qualities that make us beautiful.” Mally has a natural ability to make her clients not only look beautiful, but feel beautiful. This has made her a favorite among a versatile group of music industry heavyweights and actors including; Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Hayden Panettiere, Rihanna, Teri Hatcher, Celine Dion, Lee Ann Womack, and Ashlee Simpson. Now, with the introduction of the Mally Beauty makeup collection, Mally takes her message, and her makeup to women everywhere. Both reinforce the positive energy that is Mally, who believes that “if you do what you love, and you follow your dreams, they can become a reality.” - Mallybeauty.com

So the first product in this kit is the: "Perfect Prep Poreless Primer in "Glow"

It has a mousse like texture but it does feel like silk. It feels this way because it is has Dimethicone and Silica in it which makes it have a nice slip and fills in fine lines.

In the next pictures you can see how it looks smoothed out on my skintone. It has a nice clean smell to it but the only thing I dislike about the primer is that it creates a ashy cast over my skintone but It can be easily covered up with foundation.

The next product is the: "Visible Skin Bronzing Powder in "Deeper"

It has a rich undertone and was created to give your skin a healthy warming glow. This bronzer is completely matte. And it looks beautiful on lighter skintones. Just use a light hand and if you are heavy handed make sure you blend it out well with a fluffy brush as it can appear as if you have dirt all over your face!

I use this as a setting powder but only with a foundation that is a little dark for me. Reason, because this bronzer is a shade or two lighter then my skin and it can leave a ashy hue on me if it doesn't have something darker to contrast with.

The next product it the: "Effortless Airbrush" with the "Double Ended Shaping Brush"

So this is actually very nice. It is a hydrating blush and highlighter that feels like a creamy powder. It's has a very unique feel to it!

("Purelight Highlighter")

("Afterglow Blush")

The brush is OK for those of you who don't like a lot of different brushes. It serves it's purpose and is great for the makeup bag. The only thing I would suggest it to make the brushes a little softer and more durable in the ferrule. But overall it's nice.

The Highlighter looks beautiful on my skin and you don't need much of it to give you the glow. The blush would look nicer on a lighter skintone as it creates a ashy hue on my skin. I can only use it with a bright pink cream blush underneath to support the color.

The next product is the: "Evercolor Endless Eyeshadow" in "Sunglow"

Now this is pretty cool and portable. It has a built in brush for the cream shadow and also a bouncy sponge tip for the loose powder shadow. The only thing I dislike is the brushes are a little hard.

She describes this as bullet proof and believe it is! It wore all day and stayed vibrant and it only came off when I washed my face at night with my Philosophy Purity cleanser!

The Next Item is the: "Automatic Starlight Waterproof Eyeliner" in "Black Navy"

This is very creamy and once it sets (takes a min) it locks and doesn't go anywhere. I love wearing this particular color on my waterline as it makes the whites of my eyes brighter being a blue based black!

The next product is the: "Volumizing Mascara" in "Black"

This is very black and very nice. It's one of my favorite mascaras now! This is her #1 selling product in her line and it has won millions of awards. She describes this as "a unique mascara formula that helps create full luxurious lashes with the combination of natural waxes and pure powders to help thicken without clumping". Oh and did I mention that this bad boy is smudge proof!

And last but not least the: "High Shine Liquid Lipstick" in "Just Heaven"

Now this has beautiful packaging and can easily become a collectors item. It has a twist up applicator and a brush to blend with. She describes this as "a primer, lipstick, lip gloss, and lip pencil in one".

The formula is nice and smooth and it is not sticky which is nice. It does have a funny smell and taste that for me I can overlook it. I wouldn't describe this as a all in one as it's more like just a gloss and it came off pretty quickly like a gloss. As for the color, it really doesn't have much of it. It is a creamy baby pink but on the lips it shows up as a creamy white color. I have to use a pink lipstick underneath to create the color it should be. I actually would love to try another color.

So overall I would say that this is a nice cute little kit to try her products for the first time. There are some winners in this kit and other items that I would like to try in other colors. If are interested in this you can order if off of QVC at:

And for $74.00 and on easy pay for all these full size products I think it was a great deal!

I will defiantly buy from her line again!

Here are some snapshots of me rocking my Mally products only from this kit. I didn't use any foundation and I used the bronzer as my powder foundation. I feel like a true Mallynista ha ha (her word)
